The Birmingham chapter is forming

Nobody has joined yet, so you could be first. The first meet-up is set once 10 founding members and a host sign up.

No host yet. Hosts plan the meet-ups and greet new members.

Members can also give back to their city, for example through responsible pet care talks and volunteer days with local animal welfare groups.

What Birmingham members do

  • Monthly professional meet-ups
  • Mentoring between senior and junior members
  • Talks on changes in the profession
  • Job and opportunity sharing
  • Give-back days: responsible pet care talks and volunteer days with local animal welfare groups

Your first meet-up

  • Someone meets you. A welcome buddy greets first-timers and makes introductions.
  • Pick your level. Groups are split by experience so you're never out of your depth.
  • What to bring. Business cards are optional. Come as you are, straight from work is fine.
  • Safe and friendly. Every meet-up has a named host and follows our code of conduct.
